🎤Buddy Holly, was a US rock and roll singer. He was also a songwriter and a musician. Buddy was originally a country singer, but he switched to rock and roll. Buddy's first TV appearance was at 15 years old, by the time he made this appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show, he was already a veteran rock and roll singer (age 19, at the time). The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences gave Buddy Holly the Lifetime Achievement Award in 1997 and Buddy was inducted into the Iowa Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame in 2000.
