Nat 'King' Cole was a jazz pianist and well-known pop singer. His career began in the late 30s. Nat was so 'smooth', he melted his audiences. In 1956, Nat got his own TV show, initially 15 minutes long, which was later extended to a half hour. The show was a success, everyone loved it, the show was on from Nov. 56 to Dec. 57, but it was unable to get a National sponsor. Nat summed up the situation perfectly after the show end, "Madison Avenue is afraid of the dark." Cole released over 150 singles that hit the charts, his record sales exceeded 50 Million during his lifetime, also he was in dozens of movies and TV shows. Nat "King" Cole is a music legend.
